Mission statement

As a broad based coalition of spiritual leaders of Cape Cod, the Cape Cod Interfaith Coalition (CCIC) is founded to facilitate cordial and cooperative dialogue among all members of the spiritual communities on Cape Cod; Help resolve (or provide public forums to address) issues that trouble and divide us, and focus on tasks that unite us; Offer collegial support and comfort to those who lead and serve our various spiritual communities; Educate one another and our community about our diverse beliefs; Improve public awareness of the moral and spiritual dimensions of the practical problems we face. Even as we disagree, we resolve to do so in a spirit of mutual respect, trust, civility, and love. By practicing the discipline of these virtues in our dealings with each other, we hope to promote these values in the community we serve.
